Overview

The Visual Merchandising Manager is responsible for developing and executing the overall creative visual merchandising direction for stores and wholesale. This individual is also key partner to the Marketing Department on executing and directing key seasonal campaigns in stores. The Visual Merchandise Manager is responsible for compiling floorset information and communicating this direction to the field.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Merchant team to determine real estate allocation on the floor, supporting key item placement and styling per season
• Lay out floor maps/concept books for seasonal floor sets for all stores
• Create weekly visual directives and seasonal monthly window execution directives
• Partner with Store Operations to communicate store workload, promotional updates, and daily tasks
• Partner with Marketing to formulate strategy for seasonal presentations to support key business initiatives
• Establish a seasonal calendar outlining critical visual milestones and deadlines
• Partner with Design for bi-annual Concept build outs
• Partner with Regional and District Managers to ensure corporate direction is communicated and properly executed in field
• Maintain and update the store standards merchandise training manual
• Assist with sourcing displays and seasonal props
• Obtain feedback from Regional and District Managers and partners in the field to improve visual direction and execution

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in Visual Presentation for a retail apparel company
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office is required
• Flexible, organized, collaborative
• Excellent written, verbal communication, and organizational skills
• Creativity - must have strong visual merchandising and styling skills
• Ability to lift 30lbs and work with mannequins and fixtures/hardware in a mock store environment
• Competition and industry awareness
• Ability to work independently, manage a team of storeline associates, and multitask in a fast paced environment
• Flexible with a team player attitude
• Ability to travel minimally three times a year
• Travel may be required, based on business needs.
• Adhere to regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration. Job duties may be performed effectively using the hybrid work program designated by the company.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor as the company retains the right to change duties to this position.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
• Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
• Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 8 hours per day
• Ability to constantly operate a computer, other office equipment and look at a monitor for up to 8 hours per day
• Ability to clearly and accurately communicate and exchange information verbally, in writing, or through other means in person, telephonically, or through virtual communication methods
• Ability to reach at or below shoulder level
• Ability to carry equipment, move boxes/samples, etc.

Requirements & EEO Statement

The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000 annually Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to position offered and work experience.
