Job Description- Provide technical support, monitoring VTCs, meetings, briefings, ceremonies, conference rooms, presentations support, scheduling, Commercial Access Television (CATV), collaborative tools, visualization tools, AV projects, remote facilitation, HUB operations, digital signage, video feeds, video and audio distribution and AV troubleshooting
- Provide support for all conference room’s video display and audio systems, to include simultaneously displaying presentations/information, when appropriate
- Support and administer all digital signage in the facility
- Support and administer all touch panels in the facility
- Administer all AV distribution equipment, AV switching equipment, displays, and other associated equipment that provide a secure, robust, and integrated information system between the end users and their required resources, to include life cycle management of that equipment
- Administer, configure, and operate systems supporting the conference rooms and collaboration spaces, including ensuring the ability to display six (6) or more simultaneous images and accept audio from any available source
- These rooms could hold up to seven (7) different video teleconference (VTC) networks including Unclassified, Secret, Allied, Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS), Distributed Continuity Integrated Network-Top Secret (DCIN-TS), and Top Secret/ Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Local Ara Network (LAN) VTC (JWICS Desktop) VTC capabilities along with Unclassified And Secret collaboration tool capabilities and some other VTC networks
- The rooms will also have Unclassified And Top Secret/SCI audio conferencing capabilities and have the ability to control local room and AV resources via a touch panel interface. The touch panel will control displays, cameras, VTC, Blu-ray, Commercial Access Television (CATV), microphone muting, speaker volume, and will allow for the selection of internal and external sources of audio and video. Each room will be connected to the AVCR and this connectivity will allow each room to optionally transmit and receive AV sources with other conference rooms, workspaces, and external locations
- Support the rooms’ digital signage displaying room classification and time zone clocks
2+ years experience supporting AV and VTC systems. Must be Security+ CE certified. Experience with the following: VTC endpoint operations (Secure/Unsecure) – conference room systems; VTC infrastructure knowledge (MCU, Gatekeepers, Gateways, Crypto equipment); basic knowledge of Internet Protocol (IP)/Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) networks (High speed serial circuits) pertaining VTCs; video touting (matrix switching, system flow knowledge); and audio system knowledge (digital signal processor knowledge). Experience with AV room control systems utilizing multiple security classification (Secret, Top Secret, Top Secret/SCI) for a military operational environment utilizing AMX/Crestron or equivalent touch screen controllers, to control room classification levels, AV source distribution, and VTC sessions. Experience in complex AV display and distribution systems with multiple security classifications (Secret, Top Secret, Top Secret/SCI), utilizing high definition displays and AV Switches to route AV sources to local and remote displays. Able to support customers through remote facilitation tools. Must be detail oriented and have excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Requires good communications skills and the ability to work professionally with all levels of an organization. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Top Secret clearance with SCI access (TS/SCI).
