Job Summary:

The Greenbrier is seeking a talented and creative Freelance Videographer to assist with capturing high-quality video content that showcases the beauty, elegance, and unique experiences offered by our historic resort. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for storytelling, exceptional technical skills, and the ability to deliver polished video content that aligns with The Greenbrier's brand standards.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Content Creation: Plan, shoot, and edit video content for marketing campaigns, social media, internal communications, and special projects.
  • Storytelling: Develop creative concepts and scripts to highlight The Greenbrier's amenities, events, team members, and guest experiences.
  • Event Coverage: Capture key moments at resort events, weddings, conferences, and seasonal activities.
  • Technical Proficiency: Operate and maintain high-quality camera equipment, lighting, and audio gear to ensure professional-grade production.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing Team to align video content with brand messaging and campaign goals.
  • Post-Production: Edit footage, add motion graphics, and apply color grading to deliver visually compelling and cohesive final videos.
  • Time Management: Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Brand Representation: Maintain The Greenbrier's image and standards in all creative content.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a videographer, preferably in hospitality, luxury, or event-focused industries.
  • Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating videography and editing expertise.
  • Knowledge of composition, lighting, and sound design principles.
  • Ability to work independently and in team environments.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Own and maintain professional videography equipment (preferred).

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry camera equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working in a variety of settings, including outdoor environments and on-site locations around the resort.
