THE OPPORTUNITY
We have an immediate opening for a passionate, roll-up-your-sleeves marketing manager with specific skills in digital marketing and communications. This position plays a critical role in the growth and success of our organization. As our marketing manager, you will drive awareness of the ActivateWork brand while supporting each department with marketing activities to achieve strategic goals. The marketing manager ensures consistent execution of our brand message, voice, and creative look and feel.
Note: This role is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of 3 days a week in our Denver office.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Own the Digital Presence: You'll develop and manage our digital marketing strategy and optimize our digital marketing channels to reach new audiences and keep our current followers and partners engaged.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Own the Digital Presence: You'll develop and manage our digital marketing strategy and optimize our digital marketing channels to reach new audiences and keep our current followers and partners engaged.
- Develop and execute an annual content calendar and marketing plan to drive awareness and engagement across target audiences.
- Create and implement digital marketing campaigns to attract prospective learners and employee partners.
- Implement all aspects of social media marketing - content development, execution, and measurement.
- Develop and implement a plan to optimize SEO.
- Manage content updates to the ActivateWork website.
- Develop a marketing toolkit of templates for various marketing communication tactics.
- Support leadership and other teams in creating marketing materials (e.g., presentations, flyers, and one-pagers) to support business development and audience engagement.
- Oversee external creative resources as needed.
- Assist the Senior Director of Growth and Impact in the execution of hosted fundraising events.
- Execute plan for off/online fundraising related to key fundraising campaigns (e.g. Colorado Gives Day).
- Collaborate with external media relations resources to identify speaking engagements, interview opportunities, and authored article placement.
- Collaborate on an annual marketing communications plan that maps to specific targets and goals.
- Provide ongoing marketing support to meet specific challenges and needs.
- Strong knowledge of social media marketing
- Working knowledge of MailChimp and similar platforms
- Experience working with Canva (or other creative development software)
- Experience managing relationships with external marketing partners
- Understanding of digital campaign measurement
- Experience in workforce development or education-based marketing
- Hands-on experience in content creation, video production, graphic design, or public relations
- A strong understanding of SEO, Google Analytics, or similar digital marketing tools

- Expected Salary Range of $67,000 to $85,000 based on experience
