Job Summary:
The Marketing Coordinator will support the SVP, Marketing, Communications and Partnerships as well as the overall Channel Marketing team across all marketing functions and department operations including project management, campaign planning and recaps, marketing administrative support, and general business line marketing assistance. This position coordinates and communicates with all levels of company staff and vendors to complete projects and produces high-quality, professional support that is timely and presents Bell Bank in a positive manner to internal and external stakeholders.

Job Summary:
The Marketing Coordinator will support the SVP, Marketing, Communications and Partnerships as well as the overall Channel Marketing team across all marketing functions and department operations including project management, campaign planning and recaps, marketing administrative support, and general business line marketing assistance. Primary Duties:
This person is responsible in aiding the development and implementation of marketing plans and supporting department operations including:
- Project management for various marketing needs across Bell's lines of business.
- Liaison between multiple internal clients, vendors and the marketing team, providing consistent communication on projects.
- Initiate new jobs and clarify tasks and information using competitive research, creative briefs and discovery meetings.
- Support marketing campaigns by compiling campaign progress reports and monitoring execution of marketing tactics.
- Participate and collaborate in review meetings with internal stakeholders.
- Conduct market, customer and competitive research as directed by manager.
- Assist the Channel Marketing team with tasks as assigned, including projects, activities and events within the responsibilities of the marketing team.
- Become versed in brand standards and customer segments (needs, motivation, challenges, voice).
- Assist in screening vendor calls and email follow-up for the Marketing Department and handle such interactions in a professional and courteous manner.
- Provide calendar management support, including the scheduling process and invites for meetings and team events, travel arrangements, ordering and coordinating team meals, etc.
- Prepare and distribute Marketing Team communications including monthly team updates emails.
- Assist with purchasing, reordering and distributing of marketing specialty items for business events and customer giveaways.
- Approve and research invoices and credit card transactions charged by the department and collaborate with accounting to assure proper processing of these payments.
- Understand marketing and communications principles and tactics.
- Maintain good working relationships with contacts from many locations, departments and outside vendors.
- Contribute to a positive environment by working to meet individual and team goals.
- Provide high-quality, professional support that is timely, complete, and fulfills the intended purpose of presenting a positive image to employees and customers.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality due to the nature of the position.
- Provide follow-up between advertising/marketing vendor representatives and retail branches/departments.
- Follow up as needed on mailing information, print estimates, press checks and proofs (internal and external) and production of marketing materials.
- Know by name and face as many customers and employees as possible, calling them by name as often as possible.
- Know and practice LOCBUTN, our Golden Rules, and Bell Bank Customer Service Standards.
- Know, understand, and live the company values and bottom line.
- Conduct activities consistent with established Bell Bank policies, procedures and systems, the Bell Bank Employee Conduct policies, the Bank Secrecy Act and all applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
- All employees are responsible for information security, including compliance with policies and standards which protect sensitive information.
- Prompt and reliable attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience.
- Relevant internships or experience in communications, marketing, or related field.
- Proficient typing skills including grammar, spelling, editing and proofreading.
- Managing marketing projects experience preferred.
- Must possess computer skills relating to PC and MAC operations and the ability to quickly and accurately learn new software systems.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office products is required.
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms is required.
- Must have good organizational, communication and telephone skills; must present a professional image at all times. Flexibility in handling multiple tasks is required.
