About the Role:
The Social Media/Marketing Content Intern will play a key role in supporting the Marketing Team with social media content creation across all platforms. The main responsibilities of this role include crafting engaging content for TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, as well as writing copy and assisting with short-form video production. In addition, you will work alongside the team to create and implement compelling social media campaigns and stay up to date on trends to enhance our content strategy. This role requires someone who is knowledgeable about creating social content in-app, that has a passion for connecting with audiences and building an engaging online presence. This position offers valuable experience in content creation and brand development, while contributing to a variety of exciting marketing projects at Backroads.

What You'll be Doing:
- You will have the opportunity to aid in crafting fresh and innovative content primarily for TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
- You'll work to assemble, publish, and write copy for various social media posts.
- You'll help to create and edit short-form video content.
- You'll continue to remain up to date on social media best practices and trends, and work with our team to develop and incorporate ideas into our content.
- You'll boost interaction with our social platforms by encouraging and engaging in conversation with our followers and community.
- You'll work closely with our team to source and review visual content.
- Currently enrolled at an accredited university or college, majoring in Marketing, Communications, or social media.
- In-depth knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Creative mindset and knowledgeable about social media trends.
- Experience with editing short-form video content in-app.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for travel and the Backroads' mission.
