Position Description

World Trade Center Utah is seeking a marketing communications Intern to join our team. Get hands-on experience across all aspects of marketing and communications, including social media management, content creation, asset production, and more, all while contributing to our brand's success at high-visibility community events and international engagements.
  • Work with the marketing and communication managers to create, post, and monitor content on WTC Utah social media accounts.
  • Plan and create video content for WTC Utah Instagram account.
  • Monitor news and media for relevant information.
  • Assist with event logistics and marketing.
  • Document and photograph WTC Utah events.
  • Assist with routine website updates.
  • Support email creation and contact list optimization.
  • Assist with ordering materials and running errands as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Commitment of at least two semesters, with 15-20 hours per week (hybrid options available).
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in marketing, communications, PR, business, government, international relations, or related fields.
  • Basic photography and photo editing skills.
  • Ability to attend regular events in the Salt Lake area.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong sense of responsibility and initiative.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality work.
Preferred
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with email marketing, analytics, and automation tools.
  • Experience with DSLR cameras.
