POSITION DESCRIPTION
Do you love to build engaging content that drives people to action? WTC Utah is searching for a Marketing & Graphic Design Coordinator to support the execution of our marketing initiatives, from digital content creation and website management to collateral production and marketing emails. In this role, you will enhance the organization's capacity to deliver on its mission and strategy to help Utah businesses accelerate growth by creating content that connects Utah's business community to WTC Utah's global network, international programs, and business services and helps position Utah as an economic hub in the global marketplace. • Design and implement a variety of digital and event marketing campaigns from start to finish - concepting, copywriting, content creating, designing assets, and reporting. • Assist in managing and designing on-brand social media content and marketing materials (such as emails, signage, and flyers) that drive participation in our events, trade shows, trade missions, initiatives, programs, and services through a targeted approach. • Help develop a digital marketing plan that includes cross-platform content, member and partner engagement, social media monitoring, website optimization, and analytics reporting. • Design trade show pavilions that showcase Utah businesses and industries, ensuring a strong presence at major global trade shows. • Manage website content and maintenance. • Provide event support as needed during diplomatic visits, board meetings, summits, etc. Support ranges from onsite social coverage to event setup and hosting attendees. • Report on monthly social media and earned media performance metrics. • Ensure the global network in Mailchimp is up to date and seamlessly synced with the Salesforce database. Collaborate cross functionally with the marketing, partnerships, event, programs and services teams. • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field; 3-5 years of experience with emphasis in graphic design, social media, copywriting, and project management. Equivalent professional experience may be considered. • Familiarity with the social media marketing industry, including major platforms, trends, and best practices. Ability to grow social media followings. • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Comfortable with rapid change and proactive in adapting to a dynamic work environment. • Organized with strong time management skills. • Proficient in or able to quickly learn Microsoft Office, Mailchimp, Squarespace, Salesforce, Asana, Critical Mention, or similar software.
PREFERRED • Photography or videography experience. • Video editing or motion graphics experience is a plus.
