We are seeking a highly skilled 3D Design Contractor proficient in CATIA 3D Experience and SolidWorks. The role will involve designing and assembling 3D components with a focus on server rack systems, liquid cooling infrastructure, and power distribution. This position offers the opportunity to scale designs to data hall-level projects.

POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly skilled 3D Design Contractor proficient in CATIA 3D Experience and SolidWorks. The role will involve designing and assembling 3D components with a focus on server rack systems, liquid cooling infrastructure, and power distribution. This position offers the opportunity to scale designs to data hall-level projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Use CAD software (CATIA 3D Experience and SolidWorks) to design parts, assemblies, and mechanisms, ensuring they are optimized for manufacturability and assembly.
- Fit and integrate 3D components, focusing on server rack systems and ensuring seamless alignment.
- Develop models for liquid cooling systems, including coolant distribution manifolds (CDM), tubes, and connections.
- Design and optimize power distribution components such as power shelves and busbars.
- Create detailed 3D simulations (a plus) for analysis and validation of designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet technical and project requirements.
- Provide documentation, including technical drawings, assembly guides, and specifications.
- Proficiency in CATIA 3D Experience and SolidWorks.
- Strong experience in fitting and assembling 3D components.
- Basic understanding of liquid cooling systems, including CDM, tubing, and connections.
- Knowledge of power distribution systems, including power shelves and busbars.
- Basic electrical knowledge of AC and DC systems.
- Familiarity with Open Compute Project (OCP) standards is a plus.
- Experience with 3D simulation tools is a plus.
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to optimize designs for manufacturability.
