Job Description

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced UX Researcher to foster data-driven decision making throughout the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex problems, collaborating cross-functionally, and bringing a voice to the users.

Requirements:
• Plan and execute qualitative and quantitative user research using an array of research techniques
• Analyze user's behavioral and attitudinal data to uncover customer pain points and unmet needs
• Ability to conduct a range of research methods including user interviews, usability testing, surveys, ethnographic studies, contextual inquiry, and concept testing
• Synthesize and present research findings in context
• Leverage human centered design principles to develop journey maps, user personas, and jobs to be done
• Work closely with Product, Design, and Development teams to regularly integrate user feedback into the product design and development process
• Ability to accurately scope research initiatives by collaborating with stakeholders
• Leverage existing data and ability to tie insights to analytics
• Work in a SAFE Agile environment, coordinating projects by sprints
• Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of cross-functional teams
• Effectively manage vendor partner relationships ensuring that output meets internal expectations

Skills & Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience with UX Research
• Bachelors or advanced degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Cognitive Psychology, Computer Science, Visual Design, or similar field
• Solid understanding of wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
• Experience with unmoderated testing and prototyping tools
• Solid grasp on Human Centered Design
• Expert written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
• Portfolio demonstrating your expertise and ability to articulate your process
• Positive attitude, collaborative spirit and openness to giving and receiving feedback

Experience
• Proven experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with proficiency in Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in UX Research
• Education: Bachelors
