Responsible for converting the master packaging template into regional and market specific templates by implementing and insuring regulatory and brand standards as defined by the style and regulatory standards documentation for the specific market and product type. Review, optimize, and provide feedback to ensure best print results of photos, illustrations, and logo. Handle personal production assignment due dates for packaging art template requests to include information from and update project in the Agile PLM system, ensure templates are delivered on time, and meet template request scope. They will work alongside the QC/Brand to develop new and revised templates, ensuring all regulatory requirements are fully met with a high focus on quality. HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE: • Create, edit and optimize art assets and images for product packaging and print collateral. • Prepare electronic art files for packaging art production. Package contents include: Electronic files, fonts, images, artwork specifications and guidelines. • Responsible for checking template and production proofs for accuracy of changes, typesetting, regulatory and brand compliance, and proper positioning of graphic elements. • Maintain relationships with outside agencies to ensure alignment on template compliance • Develop best practices to optimize the template build process and ease of art production and print. • Partner with Sr. Production Artist to ensure consistency of brand and regulatory compliance is met and knowledge base is transferred through audits, formalized documents, and recorded trainings. • Ensure the Herbalife brand is followed across all touch points • Additional duties as assigned SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: • None Qualifications SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: • 6 years consistent record in graphic design production in creative team (agency or in-house) workflow, processes and structure working on workflow system and/or interactive design projects • Advanced knowledge of four-color, spot, ability to set up files based on digital printing processes and prepress requirements • Advanced level of knowledge of layout, type, and color • Microsoft Office Word and Excel, on a MAC. • Must have utmost attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. • 5 years graphic packaging production for print experience and implementing graphic standards on packaging components for the pharmaceutical, food, or nutraceutical regulatory industry. Education • 4 year college degree (BA/BS/FA) in graphic design / print management / fine art; additional 2 years relevant experience and an AA in graphic design / print management / fine art may be considered in lieu of 4 year degree #LI-TK1!
