Primary Responsibilities: Associate Manager, Sales & Marketing : Responsible for leading customer marketing strategy, building and reestablishing relationships with retailer partners, while facilitating internal cross-functional collaboration to grow our business with the retailers.

This role is responsible for selling and marketing all retail categories of products under the CADIA, MADEWITH and bulk brands by collaborating with the KeHE sales force, collaborating with the internal Exclusive Brands team, making customer presentations and owning the sample program. Essential Functions: Sales Develop and execute sales plans with Director of Sales Manage sampling program: coordinate end to end procedure with internal partners to ensure delivery of samples in an efficient manner. Track and manage spend, analyze program results with an eye toward continuous improvement. Provide thoughtful insight into sales initiatives and focus on areas to grow current business with established customers Ensure execution of new product launches, promotions, secondary placements by effectively communicating with different sales groups and account leaders Manage and effectively communicate special sales projects throughout the year on a planned and ad hoc basis Identify and pioneer programs within retailers to drive trial and awareness Lead, train and build strong relationships with-in KeHE field sales teams Marketing Work with cross-functional teams to understand and manage:

Voids and opportunities for growth within new and mature markets Pricing/Promotion/Placement Compliance at retailer level

Lead participation and execution of key Retailer Category Reviews throughout the year alongside Exclusive Brands Business Manager. Leverage insights from Brand Team and Growth Solutions Team to elevate presence throughout current stores and new accounts Build a deep understanding of US retail business, landscape and competition. Talk to other brands, brokers and buyers, read articles related to the business

Cross Functional Communicate with KeHE Sales team on objectives, new initiatives, and promotional activity within all retailers Understand the competitive dynamics within retailers discover where can we learn from leaders and find opportunities to take more share Actively participate in industry trade shows and customer shows Maintain excellent customer and team member interdepartmental relationships Reside in Boulder area with ability to work at least 3 days in the office per week. 3+ years experience in retail sales and merchandising in the grocery industry, specifically with grocery independent retailers. Proven and successful sales management track record Leadership skills and competencies for advancement within the company Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude:

Skills, Education and Experience: Established relationships with retailer customer base and/or knowledge of retail partners. Experience in sales and marketing with analytical abilities Excellent communication skills with external customers, peers, supervisors, and internal supporting departments Ability to travel for trade shows, sales calls, and meetings - approximately 40% Proven integrity in life/employment and honesty in dealings with others Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs particularly Excel Occasional and event related weekend work is required Broker management experience (preferred) Knowledge of the natural/organic industry (preferred) Bachelors degree (preferred) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
