Who were looking for TMNA ESVs (Electronic Systems Vehicle) Vehicle Development team is seeking a collaborative engineer to work on Multimedia, HVAC panel, cockpit and chassis switches. The primary responsibility of this role is vehicle development for Multimedia, HVAC panel, cockpit switches and chassis switches. Reporting to the Vehicle Development Senior Manager, the person in this role will work to fill Electronic Systems Vehicles objective of building a NA electronics center of excellence that complements Toyota Global direction.

What youll be doing:

+ Vehicle application of Multimedia

+ HVAC panel

+ cockpit switches (window master switch, N3 switches)

+ chassis switches (Spiral cable, Combi switch)

+ Plan structure and design of Multimedia, HVAC panel and switches through target setting, packaging and style feasibility that balances performance, customer needs and cost while ensuring regulatory compliance Issue design specifications to suppliers and manage supplier schedule, performance and quality

+ Manage part list and issue internal design documents including engineering change instructions and wiring specifications

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

+ This position will be working a Hybrid schedule (T/W/TH working onsite)

What you bring:

+ Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent)

+ Excellent problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills

+ 5 years or more as an electrical design engineer

+ Must be able to work up to 30% overtime

What you may bring:

+ Experience in vehicle electronics development

+ Experience in CATIA
