Block O’Toole & Murphy, a personal injury law firm in Midtown West, is seeking a highly skilled Content and Brand Marketing Manager to join their marketing team. The ideal candidate is an exceptional writer and editor with a strong background in content strategy and editorial. This position will play a crucial role in driving brand awareness, leads, and engagement across all organic marketing channels.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Help develop and implement a comprehensive content marketing strategy. Maintain an editorial calendar to ensure timely publication of content.
  • Craft high-quality, engaging content, including articles, blog posts, videos, and brochures that align with the firm's brand and resonate with the target audience.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency. Ensure all content reflects the firm's voice and maintains a consistent tone.
  • Work with Marketing Director to strategize social media videos that are engaging and on brand. Manage content distribution across various online channels and social media platforms.
  • Update brand marketing materials and coordinate with freelancers on new brand marketing initiatives.
  • Provide some administrative support across the marketing department, including occasionally organizing photoshoots and coordinating with key people on schedules for important events.
  • Other ad-hoc projects as assigned by management, such as digital PR initiatives.


Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of proven experience in content strategy.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong portfolio of published work.
  • Strong attention to detail a must.
  • Video experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, and Premiere Pro) preferred.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Graphic design experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and content management systems (CMS) a plus.
  • Experience with Google Analytics a plus.
  • Experience in the legal field is a plus.


Compensation:

  • Competitive base salary ($90,000 to $100,000), plus bonus
  • Medical and dental benefits
  • Eligibility for 401k after one year with the firm
