POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Affinaquest is seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Marketer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing software products to higher education institutions. This role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans that drive product adoption and client engagement.

Other key relationships: CRO, EVP of Strategy, Product Management, Solutions Engineering

Requirements

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS TO APPLY
  • Proven experience in marketing software products to higher education institutions.
  • Strong understanding of CRM, Predictive Analytics, and AI technologies.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including marketing automation, analytics, and CRM systems.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to position our CRM, Predictive Analytics, and AI software products effectively within the higher education market.
  • Work cross functionally with the product management sales, and clientservice teams to align on product features, market needs, and client feedback.
  • Craft compelling messaging and positioning tailored to the unique needs of Athletics and advancement offices.
  • Create and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, content marketing, email marketing, and social media.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, client needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Develop clear and compelling product messaging that differentiates our products in the market to ensure all external communications reflect this positioning.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create sales enablement materials, including presentations, product demos, and case studies.
  • Utilize data-driven marketing techniques to analyze campaign performance and optimize strategies for maximum impact.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the higher education sector, including influencers, partners, and industry organizations.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing efforts, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
IDEAL ATTRIBUTES
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for different audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive marketing decisions. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

- Hybrid Office Policy: Employees are required to be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday to foster speed of collaboration, engagement, and community.
