SOA/TRMS User Interface/ User Experience Designer

Position Summary
MAG Aerospace is currently bidding on a contract to provide flight training support services for the U.S. Army Special Operations Aviation Command (USASAOC) We are seeking highly qualified User Interface/ User Experience/ (UI/UX) Designer to support USASOAC’s 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (160th SOAR) and the Special Operations Aviation Training Battalion (SOATB).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assist and support users to use computers, print, pencil, pen, paint, film, digital photography and video, illustrations, animations, sounds, and any number of such media to produce graphics and sound to communicate ideas and thoughts.
- Create handmade and computer-generated realistic and abstract works or images of objects, people, nature, topography and events. The Contractor shall design an overall layout of publications and electronic visual presentations.
- Use computer software, computer design techniques, and computer-generated media to design new images and illustrations. The Contractor shall identify sensory stimulus requirements and media features. The Contractor shall use a media selection procedure that demonstrates possibilities and advantages of using alternative media. The Contractor shall select media based on specific media attributes to make appropriate choices that lead to practical resource decisions.
- Work closely with the instructional development team to layout and design instructional media. The Contractor shall draw storyboards to guide development during the production of computer-based training, films, and videos. The Contractor shall use computer-aided design systems and artistic techniques to create animations.
- Instruct instructors and students on how to use training materials and equipment.
- Plan, oversee, and produce the following:
- Fly on ARSOAC/DoD aircraft for the purpose of recording and capturing video.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Associate’s degree in an art or multimedia discipline.
- Minimum of two years experience in providing graphic art support for computer-based products.
- Experience with the use of creative software such as Photoshop, JavaScript, and Hypertext Markup Language (HTML).

- SECRET Clearance
