The Role
As the Event Marketing Manager, you will lead the strategy, planning, and execution of digital, tradeshow, and in-person events that elevate Middesk's brand and drive measurable business outcomes. This role is critical in creating meaningful engagement opportunities that generate leads, strengthen relationships, and amplify our market presence.
Reporting to Middesk's Event Marketing leader, you'll collaborate cross-functionally with teams like Sales, Product Marketing, and Design to deliver seamless and impactful event experiences. Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute digital events: Plan webinars, virtual product demos, and other online experiences that showcase thought leadership and engage customers.
- Manage tradeshow presence: Oversee booth design, sponsorships, logistics, team coordination, and speaking opportunities to maximize ROI.
- Plan in-person events: Organize conferences, customer meetups, and branded gatherings that align with Middesk's vision and goals.
- Own event budgets: Develop, monitor, and optimize event budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and measurable ROI.
- Collaborate cross-functionally Partner with teams like Sales, Product Marketing, and Design to create cohesive campaigns that drive attendance and engagement.
- Track and optimize event performance: Measure success metrics and implement improvements to maximize the impact of future events.

Key qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in event marketing, preferably in a B2B tech environment.
- Demonstrated success in planning digital, tradeshow, and in-person events.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with a history of meeting deadlines.
- Experience crafting event marketing campaigns to drive attendance and engagement.
- Proficiency with event management software and digital marketing tools.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, growing company.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
- Hybrid role: 2 days/week in our SF or NYC office.
