Summary
OneStream is seeking a dynamic and seasoned Vice President of Solution Marketing to lead our Product Marketing team to drive product positioning, competitive intelligence, industry/vertical marketing, and partner ecosystem marketing for our market-leading enterprise Finance management platform.
OneStream (Nasdaq: OS) is the market-leading platform for the Office of the CFO, delivering an award-winning SaaS-based, AI-powered platform that uniquely unifies financial consolidation, planning, reporting, and analysis so organizations can stop wrangling data, start steering the business, and Take Finance Further.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
As the Vice President of Product Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in helping position OneStream as a trusted advisor to the CFO and pioneer in modern Finance. You will be responsible for partnering with sales, marketing, product management, and other key stakeholders across the organization to develop compelling product and competitive positioning, accelerate new product introduction and sales enablement, and advance go-to-market strategies that resonate with our target audience of CFOs, Controllers, and other finance leaders. In this role, you will also function as a chief evangelist and customer engagement leader to advance OneStream's vision, positioning, and value in the marketplace.
Product Strategy and Positioning
Partner with Product Management to inform product roadmap priorities, derive key value levers that resonate with market needs, and align with marketing and sales strategies, ensuring market readiness and impact. Develop and refine compelling and differentiated positioning for the OneStream platform and solutions that stands out in a crowded market, resonates with target audience needs, capitalizes on market trends, and highlights key benefits and differentiating features versus the competition. Clearly articulate the value proposition and ROI for customers across key personas, including CFOs, Controllers, and FP&A teams, and execute that messaging across the marketing funnel.
Go-to-Market Leadership
Work collaboratively with sales, sales operations, commercialization, and enablement teams to design and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new solution launches, enhancements, and market expansions. Enable Sales and Customer Success teams with the tools, training, and collateral needed to drive adoption and retention.
Market and Competitive Intelligence
Lead efforts to gather and analyze market trends, win-loss analysis, customer feedback, and competitive insights to inform product marketing strategies and develop differentiated product positioning that delivers measurable win results and competitive advantage in the marketplace. Develop battle cards, competitive analyses, and win/loss reports to empower Sales and Product teams to outmaneuver competitors.
Industry and Vertical Marketing
Develop targeted marketing strategies and campaigns for key industries and verticals - including Manufacturing, Retail, Banking, Public Sector, and commercial/mid-market segments -- emphasizing the unique benefits of the OneStream platform and solutions in each segment. Collaborate with industry experts to produce high-impact industry content, such as whitepapers, webinars, case studies, and thought leadership articles to build OneStream reputation and differentiated value in key verticals and segments.
Brand and Demand Generation Alignment
Partner with Brand, Strategic Communications, Demand Generation and Digital Marketing teams to inform and align corporate positioning and develop campaigns that generate awareness, drive leads, and accelerate the sales pipeline for OneStream solutions. Ensure consistent, value-based product messaging across all marketing channels and campaigns.
Team Leadership and Development
Build and lead a high-performing Product Marketing team with deep domain expertise in Finance, Planning, key verticals, competitive analysis, and sales enablement. Foster a culture of outcome-focused collaboration, innovation, and data-driven decision-making.
Metrics and Performance Optimization
Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and continually improve the success of product marketing initiatives, including market penetration, lead conversion, and customer acquisition metrics. Continuously optimize strategies and execution based on performance data and market dynamics.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. 10+ years of marketing experience, with 5+ years in senior Product Marketing leadership roles in Financial Software, SaaS, or CPM industries.
