The Marketing Associate is responsible for marketing strategies focused on positively promoting GVHC as the primary care provider of choice. The ideal candidate will be team-oriented and inspired by the mission, vision and values of GVHC. This position reports to the Vice President and Chief Communications Officer and will ensure communication, outreach, and advocacy goals are met. The primary objectives are accountability for ensuring marketing projects are on schedule, on budget and implemented seamlessly. This position requires strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Schedule is Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, with flexibility to work weekends or evenings if needed to support event coordination. Compensation:

$69,000.00 - $75,000.00 annual salary Essential Duties and Responsibilities Demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills, reflecting a positive, professional image and raising brand awareness both internally and externally. Foster and maintain strong relationships across departments, ensuring team members understand and leverage the services and capabilities of the Marketing Department. Develop project timelines, ensuring clients provide materials and information within timelines for successful project completion. Support the marketing team by serving as a liaison to the department, developing project plans, guiding/facilitating and overseeing marketing campaigns, and tracking the budget expenditures as well as performance metrics. Identify, secure, and manage sponsors for advertising placements in each quarterly edition of Check Up Magazine, coordinating ad submissions, payments, and distribution. Create and execute strategies to broaden and maximize the magazine distribution. Gather key performance indicators (KPIs) and data across marketing platforms, optimizing performance across social media, websites, and digital channels. Oversee the accuracy of online information; including clinic services, hours, and directions, across search platforms. Understand, apply and encourage adoption of brand guidelines and signage uniformity in clinics and administrative offices. Ensure messaging is consistent with overall marketing strategic priorities. Supervise multiple projects and deadlines, coordinating the work of others to meet delivery, quality and cost objectives, reviewing projects, and exploring new, innovative procedures to improve final product and delivery. Coordinate the production of marketing communications materials and signage. Set up and track marketing jobs in progress, including assigning deadlines and project elements to internal production staff and external contractors. Build, review and assess the need for revision of communication plans. Assess and participate in community outreach events aligned with the mission of GVHC for brand messaging and recognition (may include evening and/or weekend events). Other duties and projects as assigned. Physical Demands Employee must occasionally lift or move up to 30 pounds and move up to 100 pounds on wheels. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to hear staff on the phone and those who are served in-person, and speak clearly in order to communicate information to clients and staff. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. Some work events may require work in an outdoor environment. Some travel throughout the Central Valley service region will be required. Education/Experience Requirements Minimum Qualifications Knowledge of project management tools, Marketing concepts and strategy, Social media platforms; Strong organizational skills required. Social media and digital advertising experience a plus. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks. Effectively interact with both internal and external contacts Plan, organize, coordinate, and monitor projects. Valid California driver’s license, vehicle insurance, acceptable driving record and reliable transportation Experience/Education High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience required. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations or related field, or relevant experience may be substituted for education on a year for year basis. Experience in communication, sales and marketing preferred. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with high attention to detail and organization skills.
