About the Team The Marketing Team’s primary responsibilities are to communicate the value of the Subsplash platform to the world—managing all outward-facing communications, leading demand generation efforts, creating go-to-market product strategies, facilitating brand management/identity, and more. We create beautiful and effective email campaigns, social media strategies, website content, product identities, videos, and more. We identify prospects and nurture them into quality leads for our sales team. For existing clients, we help them understand and engage with our products and new features. About the Role As the VP of Marketing, you will report to the Chief Revenue Officer, and will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that align with Subsplash’s business objectives. The right person for this role will have a data-driven approach that blends well with intuition. This person must be able to clearly demonstrate an understanding of our mission and our clients. This role oversees all marketing activities, including brand management, product positioning, market research, advertising, public relations, sponsors and partnerships, and digital marketing. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with our business goals and drives customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. Oversee and have a detailed understanding of all aspects of our marketing operations and analytics to provide clarity in marketing efforts. Lead and mentor a marketing team of 10-15, attract great talent, and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with the Sales and Product teams to ensure alignment and support across marketing campaigns and initiatives. Spearhead the launch of new product features and services. Build and expand our brand presence through storytelling, thought leadership, strategic partnerships, and participation in industry events. Drive client awareness and adoption of our platform. Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI and growth opportunities. Utilize data analytics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, and refine strategies based on insights and performance metrics. Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities, and adapt marketing strategies to maintain our competitive edge. Report on marketing performance and strategic initiatives to the executive team and stakeholders, providing actionable insights and recommendations. Qualifications Display our core values of Humility, Innovation, and Excellence. 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, ideally with a high growth SaaS company. Passionate about serving our clients. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Visionary leader with a track record of driving significant growth and achieving marketing objectives. Both creative and analytical, able to blend storytelling with data-driven insights to craft compelling marketing strategies. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of inspiring and leading diverse teams and engaging stakeholders at all levels. Preferred Qualifications Experience in scaling marketing efforts at a growth-stage company, navigating the challenges that come with rapid expansion. An MBA or other advanced degree. Marketing experience with our clients. Compensation The total compensation for this role will be $200,000 - $300,000/yr. Location This role is only available as a 100% remote position if you reside in one of the following states: AL, AR, AZ, CO, FL, GA, ID, IA, KS, MO, MI, NC, NM, OK, OH, OR, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WY.
