A selected project portfolio can be found on our website. Job Description: Arcanum is currently seeking a junior designer to join the San Francisco residential team. The candidate will work under the direction of the project manager to develop and coordinate schematic design and construction documents. The candidate must be a creative, well-organized, self-motivated, and collaborative team player. This position is not remote. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance to San Francisco and legally authorized to work in the United States. Arcanum is unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role. Qualifications: An accredited professional architecture degree: BArch or MArch 2-5 years of professional experience in an architecture design firm Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) Proficiency with 3D modeling and rendering software (Sketchup, VRay, Enscape, etc.) Excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skills Strong organization and self-management skills with meticulous attention to detail and ability to implement direction from project leads. Able to work legally in the United States Responsibilities: Collaborate effectively with the design team through all project phases in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision Create schematic design drawing packages for client presentations and design review boards Be committed to an exceptional standard of craft and quality Seek innovative approaches to communicate design ideas efficiently, effectively, and artfully using various software platforms Compensation: Competitive salary Paid vacation and holidays 401(k) Medical, dental, and vision health care plans Life insurance and disability plans Profit sharing plan
