Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Center (LTYC) in Baltimore, MD is on the lookout for a dedicated individual to join our dynamic team as a Music-Bucket Band Instructor. In this role, you will ignite the passion for music in young minds, nurturing their creativity and individuality. Offering a competitive hourly rate ranging from $25 to $35, we provide a nurturing environment where your musical talents can shine.

Compensation:

$25 - $35 per hour

Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute interactive music workshops for young participants by utilizing music buckets as musical instruments.
  • Create customized lesson plans that cater to different proficiency levels and encourage imaginative expression in budding musicians.
  • Organize and manage performances and exhibitions to highlight the talents of the youth music-bucket ensemble.
  • Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of music-bucket instruments and gear for optimal functionality.
  • Collaborate closely with fellow educators and personnel to advance the overarching objectives and vision of the Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Center.
Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of experience in musical performance.
  • Proficiency in playing various musical instruments.
  • Strong improvisational skills.
  • Ability to engage and entertain diverse audiences.
  • US Work Authorization.

Our arts education instruction includes dance, theater, music, visual arts, media arts, creative writing, STEAM, culinary arts, Yoga, martial arts, and gardening.
