National personal injury law firm seeks an outrageously creative, focused, and ambitious “full stack” Marketing Director to direct and reshape our advertising and brand building efforts. We are ready to move beyond the conventions of “lawyer advertising” and find innovative methods and channels to break through the traditional clutter. We are looking to equip our Marketing Director with resources needed, from employees, a multi-million dollar budget, and a mission to build a more creative, approachable, and authentic voice with which to speak to people whom we may be able to assist. We are looking for someone to serve as the “apex” of our marketing team and efforts who is able to lead and motivate our department in terms of creative development, operational execution, and data analytics. You will be the “General” leading all of our marketing troops, so you should be prepared to be bold, inspirational, and endlessly creative and energetic. The ideal person to fill this role will have 5 years or more experience and education along with a track-record of results in all major marketing and deployment channels and methods who has served in a leadership position within a mid-sized or larger marketing department or agency. We can find a win/win solution together Objectives of this role Developing and implementing strategic marketing plans to drive exponential growth in our regional and national markets. Effective allocation and management of marketing budgets and staffing resources, so as to achieve exponential growth while maintaining maximum ROI. Monitor and analyze market trends, consumer insights, data analytics and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and maintain a competitive edge. Lead strategic partnerships and collaborations with external agencies, vendors, and influencers to amplify brand reach and awareness. Maintain an “up to the minute” knowledge of the industry’s advancements and the emerging marketing technologies. Preferred skills and qualifications Formal education in marketing (MBA or bachelor's degree or equivalent field) is preferred, but not required. Results are more important than a pedigree - if you have a proven track record of success and excellence at a major company or enterprise, we don’t give a flying flip about your education. 5 years of experience in a marketing director role. Legal marketing experience a plus, but not required. If you have a little bit less experience, that’s okay – reach out anyway.
