About Lakewood Regional Support

Our regional support center provides resources to our hotels for multiple areas including Human Resources, Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Security, Group Reservations, Guest Contact Center, Information Technology, Laundry and Communications.

This role works as part of the Communications and PR team supporting the eight on-site hotels operated by Loews Hotels, and owned in a joint venture partnership with Universal Orlando and Hard Rock International. Supports multiple communications initiatives in a dynamic and fast-paced resort environment to include guest services, social media, internal communications, production support and additional areas based upon business needs. This is an on-site opportunity.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Creates and curates social media content and engages with fans and followers to drive business results and guest satisfaction.

  • Utilizes social media to create and enhance positive, memorable guest experiences.

  • Collaborates with partners to support branded programs and destination-wide initiatives

  • Monitors guest feedback from multiple channels and delivers timely follow-ups to achieve guest satisfaction

  • Develops content for internal communication channels and liaises with key stakeholders

  • Works effectively with all internal and external stakeholders in a spirit of partnership

  • Coordinates reservations for influencers, bloggers and media guests as assigned for site visits, FAMs and hotel tours

  • Assists in the coordination and execution of photo and video shoots

  • Accompanies influencers, bloggers and media guests as assigned for site visits and hotel tours

  • Supports the overall goals and responsibilities of the company and the department

  • Assists with the planning and execution of Loews Hotels Good Neighbor events

  • Tracks charitable requests and fulfills approvals

  • Willingness to learn and support multiple areas of Communications

  • Takes initiative and follows through on assignments in a timely manner

  • Proficient in computer software including Adobe, Word, Excel, Power Point

  • Guest service oriented, with excellent hospitality skills

  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, meet deadlines and interactive effectively with all levels of team members

  • Regular attendance in conformance with schedule

  • May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs of the hotel

  • Required attendance at all training sessions and meetings

  • Prior hotel/hospitality experience

  • Prior experience with content scheduling platforms and UGC sourcing platforms

Experience: 

  • Degree in Communications-related discipline or equivalent experience

  • Minimum two years office experience, preferably in a Public Relations Agency
