Raw Earth Foundation is seeking a talented and passionate Animator to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in developing engaging and educational content for our "Earth Kids" YouTube channel, teaching children about plant identification, environmental stewardship, and sustainability. Additionally, the animator will collaborate with our tech team on an exciting tree-planting game aimed at promoting environmental awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and animate visually captivating content for the "Earth Kids" YouTube channel.
  • Work closely with educational content developers to create compelling stories and narratives for
  • children’s animations.
  • Develop educational animations that make topics like plant identification, ecosystems, and
  • conservation accessible and fun for children.
  • Collaborate with the tech team to create animations and visual assets for a tree-planting game.
  • Storyboard concepts and bring them to life with creative, high-quality animations.
  • Ensure animations align with the Raw Earth Foundation's mission and educational goals.
  • Assist with creative input on character designs, interactive elements, and storytelling.
  • Stay updated on animation trends and techniques to produce modern and engaging content.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in animation, preferably for educational or children’s content.
  • Proficiency in animation software such as Adobe Animate, Blender, or similar tools.
  • Strong skills in character design, 2D/3D animation, and motion graphics.
  • A portfolio showcasing work relevant to children’s content and/or educational media.
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment and adapt to feedback.
  • Passion for environmental education and sustainability is highly desirable.

Work Environment:

  • Remote with occasional team meetings and collaboration sessions.
  • Flexible work schedule with deliverables based on project timelines.

Commitment:

5-10 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate deadlines. Most tasks can be done remotely,

though occasional virtual team meetings may be required.
