This individual plans, shoots, and edits high-quality video content, including but not limited to, promotional videos, corporate announcements, educational tools, and customer, employee, and community events. The Videographer and Social Media Strategist will manage end-to-end projects and ensure that all content aligns with company branding guidelines and objectives and complies with industry regulations and company policies. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelops media strategies that support product launches, corporate messaging, and brand-building efforts.Possesses technical skills to operate cameras, lighting, sound and ability to edit footage to create compelling final products.Consults with stakeholders to understand content goals and objectives.Manages end-to-end digital projects.Ensures all video content aligns with the company's branding guidelines and objectives.Creates content that fosters a strong company culture and enhances internal knowledge-sharing.Stays current on trends in video production, digital media, and content marketing to implement innovative ideas.Manages multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high-quality standards.Ensures clear and accurate communication.Coordinates with internal teams and external vendors to meet project objectives.Serves as a liaison with outside agencies, resources, or vendors that provide outsource marketing support to achieve marketing plan goals.Plans, shoots, and edits high-quality video content, including, but not limited to, promotional videos, corporate announcements, customer and employee testimonials, training materials, and event coverage.Creates content for websites, social media, email campaigns, and internal communications.Operates and maintains video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio recording tools.Designs and produces multimedia content for digital platforms.Sets up/breaks down sets or locations used for production.Coordinates the creation of digital content (website, podcasts, etc.).In partnership with Mid Penn University or department management, develops video tutorials or how-to-guides to educate customers or employees on banking products and services.Documents and covers corporate events, seminars/training, community programs.Maintains accurate records of releases, copyright permissions, and licensing agreements.Monitors the performance of video and media campaigns across platforms using appropriate analytics and metrics.Provides insight and recommendations to optimize content for better engagement and ROI.Ensures all media content complies with industry regulations and company policies.Safeguards the confidentiality and security of sensitive information used in production.Assists in producing timely and effective media content when urgent communication is needed.Education and QualificationsA B.S. or B.A. degree in Media Production, Film, Communications, Marketing or a related field of study preferred or equivalent work experience.Proven experience as a videographer, media specialist or similar role.Proficiency in video editing software.Experience with a variety of social media video formats and trends.Ability to travel with little notice for on-site shoots or event coverage.Ability to work a flexible schedule when required and work extended hours when needed.A minimum of five (5) years' experience in related positions normally required.Regular and predictable attendance is required.Mid Penn Bank offers rewarding career opportunities, competitive wages, great incentives and benefits.
