Hi-Pro Feeds is seeking a dynamic and organized Digital Media Manager with digitally savvy marketing skills to support and execute key initiatives and campaigns. You will develop and execute a strategy to manage Hi-Pro's online presence across various social media platforms. Allow your creative juices to flow while creating content, engaging with followers, monitoring interactions, analyzing data, and running campaigns to build brand awareness and community, all while aligning with the company's overall marketing goals. While reporting to the General Manager, you will work closely with the leadership team, sales reps and vendors. You will be required to travel extensively in Hi-Pro Feed's trade area. Graphic design, SEO & Google Analytics, digital media buying, social media advertising are a must for this position.

This is a full-time position and the ideal candidate will be located in the Hi-Pro Feeds trade area.

About The Role

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and create content for all web pages, social media posts, including category and product pages, vendor news, blogs, and expert advice columns
  • Manage accounts program budgets and vendor relationships, along with coordinating marketing support tools to sales team / trade shows / accounts
  • Identify opportunities for local sponsorships, local PR, event participation and local influencer relationship building
  • Keep a pulse on local market and competitive trends to proactively identify marketing opportunities
  • Measure impact of marketing efforts
  • Recommend strategies and tactics to get the word out about our brands and drive consumers to the shelf
  • Establish end-to-end integrated marketing campaigns driving key business objectives and work with various departments to execute
  • Identify and engage in local marketing activities / trade show events that drive brand awareness and engagement
  • Understand and evaluate market landscape, competitor activities and category opportunities
  • Coordinate packaging re-design strategy with leadership teams
  • Responsible for tracking project management strategic initiatives, budget management, and competitive tracking and analysis
Skills and Expertise

Qualifications:
  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or equivalent
  • Prefer 3+ years of marketing experience
  • Strong background in agriculture and animal feed practices and trends
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Solid understanding of social media platforms and their functionalities
  • Creative thinking and content development abilities
  • Graphic design and Social Media Management is an asset
  • Working knowledge of Full Adobe Suite, Microsoft applications, and Canva or similar application
Expectation from the Role:
  • Self-motivated, organized with attention to detail, resourceful, flexible and adaptable with strong project management skills are essential, excellent communication skills (consulting, writing, presentation), energetic, ability to take initiative, relationship builder..
  • Keen understanding of online brand recognition and branding strategies
  • Familiarity with best practices of social scheduling including frequency, timing, etc. to encourage optimal engagement
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
  • Must be willing to travel 50% of the time in the first 6 months of employment
