Keeley Companies is looking to hire a User Experience Director for our corporate headquarters in St. Louis, MO.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive UX strategy aligned with IT and organizational goals.
  • Champion user-centered design processes to enhance digital solutions across the organization.
  • Stay abreast of emerging UX trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure competitive advantages.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing UX team, including UX designers, researchers, and analysts.
  • Oversee user research initiatives, including usability testing, surveys, and interviews, to gather actionable insights.
  • Analyze user behavior and feedback to identify pain points, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Direct the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and user interfaces that meet functional and aesthetic standards.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure UX designs are effectively implemented into systems and applications.
  • Partner with IT leadership, product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to align UX initiatives with technical and business requirements.
  • Serve as the UX subject matter expert in strategic planning and technology roadmaps.
  • Establish UX metrics and KPIs to measure success and drive improvements.
  • Continuously evaluate the ROI of UX efforts to demonstrate business impact.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Accredited Technical Degree in IT, plus an additional minimum of 15 years of experience supporting similar responsibilities listed above.
  • Proven track record of delivering user-centric IT solutions.
  • Expertise in UX tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Axure, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles, usability testing, and user research methodologies.
  • Proficiency in agile development environments and collaboration tools.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly solutions.
  • Ability to execute strategic planning.
  • Advanced skills in leadership & team development.
