As the Manager of User Experience, you will be responsible for shaping and enhancing the overall user experience for digital products, systems, and platforms. This role ensures that IT solutions are designed with user-centric principles, improving usability, accessibility, and satisfaction for both internal and external stakeholders. You will lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team while ensuring that our technology solutions align with Keeley's vision, mission, and long-term goals.

As the Manager of User Experience, you will be responsible for shaping and enhancing the overall user experience for digital products, systems, and platforms. This role ensures that IT solutions are designed with user-centric principles, improving usability, accessibility, and satisfaction for both internal and external stakeholders. You will lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team while ensuring that our technology solutions align with Keeley's vision, mission, and long-term goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a high-performing UX team, including developers, product owners, solutions experts, and data architects.
- Champion user-centered design processes to enhance digital solutions across the organization.
- Oversee user research initiatives, including usability testing, surveys, and interviews, to gather actionable insights.
- Analyze user behavior and feedback to identify pain points, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Translate research findings into recommendations for design and IT system enhancements.
- Collaborate with the IT operations and cyber security teams to ensure UX designs are effectively implemented into systems and applications.
- Monitor consistency in user experiences across all digital platforms.
- Advocate for UX best practices across departments and drive stakeholder buy-in.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Partner with IT leadership, vendors, product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to align UX initiatives with technical and business requirements.
- Serve as the UX subject matter expert in strategic planning and technology roadmaps.
- Work closely with change management teams to ensure smooth adoption of user centered solutions.
- Establish a comprehensive UX strategy, as well as UX metrics and KPIs to measure success and drive improvements while motivating the UX team to consistently achieve excellence.
- Present findings, reports, and progress updates to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
- Continuously evaluate the ROI of UX efforts to demonstrate business impact.
- Oversee application integrations across operational platforms.
- Bachelor's or Accredited Technical Degree in IT plus an additional minimum of 7 years of experience supporting similar responsibilities listed above.
- Proven track record of delivering user-centric IT solutions.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles, usability testing, and user research methodologies.
- Understanding of the various components and functioning of a modern data lake, including design, development, and implementation of data architecture ensuring business value, usability, and scalability.
- Awareness of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) in terms of both theory and practical applications.
- Utilize critical forward thinking to anticipate and mitigate future risks.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly solutions.
- Advanced skills in leadership and team development.
- Ability to execute analytical, innovative problem-solving and solutions.
- Experience with Scrum, Kanban, and/or other development methodologies.
- Experience delivering large-scale projects (12-24 months) on time and within budget. Ability to effectively drive urgency and set clear expectations, fostering accountability and ensuring timely delivery.
