The Localization Project Manager (LPM) is expected to work closely with vendors to outline expectations. The LPM will collaborate with other LPMs and vendors to ensure that localization projects are on track, relevant to the audience, and represent the client firm's voice in the marketplace. Duties: You will project manage campaigns from concept level to go-live, represent the localization team in meetings, manage deliverables, and prepare and present presentations. Work with producers of English/Int'l English/other language content and vendors to ensure that localization production can be undertaken with no rework. Analyze and manage localized data. Familiarity with Apple, iTunes, and iCloud brands is required. Knowledge of marketing copy, international marketing copy, and the global marketplace is desired. Required Skills: BA degree or equivalent. Linguistic skill in a language other than English; excellent English communication skills. Project management experience; localization production preferred. Experience in methods of Software QA and/or QA automation is a plus. Familiarity with iTunes (music, TV, movies, apps, iTunes U, etc.); ability to write and edit copy as an International Editorial expert. Editorial experience and journalistic background in Music are highly preferred. Teamwork – The candidate will coordinate localization projects with marketing, vendors, localization team staff, legal, and other departments globally. Comfort in multiple languages is desired and the ability to deal with large volumes in up to 40 languages simultaneously. Comfort and competence working on the Mac platform, using iOS, and familiarity with Apple UI terminology is necessary.
