Location: Los Angeles, CaliforniaJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $60 - 68 per hourOur Fortune 500 retail client is seeking an experienced Creative Tools Operations Manager, to manage, deliver, and govern new capabilities in creative software in support of their Creative Studio! In this role, you directly support the digital transformation of the Creative Studio, managing a program of interdependent technology projects and delivering solutions in collaboration with technical and non-technical partners. By integrating inputs from Creative and Production stakeholders, Business Advisors, Data & Analytics, Creative Operations, Account Management, and Project Management, you'll supply a system perspective to the Creative Studio tool projects that you manage. You'll bring your creative operations expertise to partnerships with technical teams, including Marketing Technology Product Managers, Site Managers, Global IT, and technology vendors. The ideal candidate has studied or practiced Agile methodology, and thrives when leading alignments and building cross-functional partnerships.This is a hybrid role in which candidates must be local to Los Angeles or San Bruno, CA.Responsibilities:
Managing a program of Creative Studio tools projects to successful completion.
Leading projects and clearing their critical paths, surfacing risks, and managing interdependencies.
Continuously delivering software capabilities that support the Creative Studio's overall strategy and objectives.
Developing project roadmaps and schedules, documenting necessary roles and responsibilities for each initiative.
Analyzing tools across Creative Studio and creative industries to further best -in-class solutions and processes.
Identifying solutions gaps and Creative Studio tools maturity.
Contributing to Creative Studio tools strategy and roadmap.
Preparing and maintaining impact assessments, change logs, and other program artifacts.
Contributing tooling expertise in interdependent areas of the business.
Closely collaborating with vendors, technical and non-technical partners, and stakeholders.
Communicating milestones and deliverables; providing feedback regarding project success, preparing executive summaries and reports.
Qualifications:
PMP certification (or equivalent experience).
Bachelor's degree.
6-8 years' experience leading cross-functional programs to support creative technology, creative operations, or creative production at large organizations.
2-5 years' experience with digital asset management systems.
Familiarity with legal, operational, and technology requirements for digital assets' rights management.
3+ years supporting creative technology, studio tools, and marketing for a retail or ecommerce organization.
Experience creating and maintaining knowledge management, documentation, and training materials.
Experience working with Product and Vendor teams to deliver software implementations, integrations, configurations, and new features.
Familiarity with creative operations metrics and business analysis.
Excellent verbal and written communication; English-language proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
Expert with Adobe Experience Manager.
Administrative experience with Adobe Workfront.
Experience with Confluence, Jira, Airtable, Figma.
Proficient with MS Office 365.
