About Us: DreamGlow Collective (DC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to transforming lives through music instruction and STEAM workforce development. We support underserved and marginalized communities by addressing critical needs, including basic necessities, vocational training, and career pathways. Our vision includes uplifting individuals at risk of or experiencing homelessness, advancing opportunities in STEAM fields, and revolutionizing the aviation industry by building a diverse talent pipeline. Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and skilled volunteer Grant Writer to join our mission-driven team. In this role, you will play a vital part in securing funding to support our initiatives, including: Basic Needs and Unhoused Support:

Programs providing financial assistance, food, clothing, and other essentials to individuals and families in need, including veterans. STEAM Education and Workforce Development:

Initiatives offering IT certifications, aviation training, and music education to open pathways for economic mobility. Aviation Industry Development:

Efforts to address the pilot shortage and expand into air taxi services, including securing funding for a flight school and innovative aviation programs. Key Responsibilities: Research and identify grant opportunities from private foundations, corporations, and government entities. Write, edit, and submit compelling grant proposals tailored to funding requirements. Collaborate with leadership to align grant proposals with DreamGlow Collective’s mission and objectives. Assist in developing and maintaining a grants calendar to track deadlines and submissions. Support efforts to secure government contracts to fund our aviation training and air taxi development projects. Qualifications: Proven experience in grant writing, with a strong track record of successful applications. Exceptional written communication and storytelling skills. Familiarity with nonprofit operations, funding landscapes, and government contract processes. Strong research and organizational abilities. Passion for DreamGlow Collective’s mission and programs.
