Job Summary:Community Marketing Coordinator is responsible to support the sales enrollment strategy in collaboration with management to ensure all membership goals are successfully achieved. This position includes up to 50% travel in the field and working some evenings/weekends.Essential Functions:Support community marketing and education team on CareSource's Medicaid, Health Insurance Marketplace, MyCare and Medicare Advantage lines of business activities.Support the development of educational and enrollment opportunities with community and government agencies, community housing, providers and health systems, community business associations, targeted industries and faith-based organizationsAssist with the development of sales presentations, marketing activities and other informational events in accordance with current approved marketing guidelines and State/Federal regulationsResponsible for the ordering all promotional materials for delivery and managing the inventory.Assist with the development and delivery on educational staff presentations to targeted industries, hospitals, clinics, doctors' offices, public housing, faith-based organizations, community organizations and government agenciesAnswer telephone calls, provide information, direct calls, or take messages concerning matters related to the department.Anticipate and schedule/maintain calendar of appointments and meetings. Make necessary arrangements such as securing meeting rooms and preparation of agendas, lunches, equipment; this could also include conferences, off sites, team building, and market related events.Strictly adhere to all State and Federal Marketing regulationsPerform all required training to successfully satisfy all State and Federal requirementsMonitor competition by gathering current market information on benefits, services, trends, changes, strategies/tactics, new products, etc.Coordinate and secure travel arrangements for the executive and prepare itinerary, including but not limited to hotel, car, conference registration, etc.Cross trained in all lines of CareSource products and benefitsMaintain an inventory of all sponsorship activities, schedule events accordingly and process payments.Manage budget of sponsorship and Promotional items spendKeep management informed by documenting detailed sales activity and records of all agency/organization contacts in the Customer Relationship Management tool ("CRM") and weekly reportsEffectively coordinate activities with Communications/Marketing, Inside Sales/Member Services, Health Partners, Life Services and Care Management counterparts to ensure achievement of desired results Assist in enrollment activity for Medicare Advantage productRegular travel to set up and participation in community events including weekends.Perform any other job duties as requestedEducation and Experience:Associate degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent years of relevant work experience, is preferredMinimum of two (2) years of experience in Sales, Marketing or Account Management or Community Outreach and/or Social Delivery is requiredMedicare, Medicaid and/or Commercial Health Insurance experience is preferredCompetencies, Knowledge and Skills:Proficient in Microsoft Suite, to include Word, PowerPoint and ExcelExcellent computer skills and ability to effectively use CRM systemKnowledge of managed care principles, marketing guidelines and market dynamicsMaintain marketing regulatory knowledge for compliance to State and Federal regulatory insurance guidelines and requirementsProven self-starter: able to work independently and within a team environment to achieve sales goalsEffective listening and critical thinking skillsStrong problem-solving skills with attention to detail & excellent follow-upExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent presentation skills and negotiation skills in both small and large group settingsExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to develop, prioritize and accomplish goalsStrong interpersonal skills and high level of professionalismDemonstrated strategic thinking and planning skillsExcellent research and analytical skillsProven experience of selling new products to existing customersExcellent Time and territory management skillsAbility to lift up to 50lbs on occasionLicensure and Certification:Current, unrestricted Driver's License in good standing is required Employment in this position is conditional pending successful clearance of a driver's license record check. A valid driver's license, car, and insurance are necessary for work related travelRequired to use general office equipment, such as a telephone, photocopier, fax machine, and personal computerFlexible hours, including evenings and/or weekends as needed to serve the needs of our members and may refer members to other CareSource resourcesCompensation Range:$45,600.00 - $73,000.00CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate's education, training, and experience as well as the position's scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level.
