WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Simpli.fi is hiring a Senior Specialist of Engagement and Marketing Technology to oversee our email program, as well as advance our martech integrations, including email automations. You will work cross-functionally on marketing technology efforts, and with marketing teams to implement performance-based email marketing campaigns. This role will report into the Growth Marketing function.

The ideal candidate will support the email program, striving for innovative ways to both nurture new users, retain existing clients, and ultimately increase Simpli.fi’s customer lifetime value. Our goals with email are to continue growing Net Recurring Revenue with customers, spark engagement with prospects to ultimately drive revenue, and to continually monitor performance optimizations.

Beyond email, this candidate will help optimize and explore marketing technology on an ongoing basis to support our growth strategy, to maintain clean and updated databases that power email and marketing efforts for the company, and add AI or automations when applicable. Our goal with marketing technology is to continue to build and improve automations, while coordinating with partners within and outside of marketing to ensure that data cleanliness and accuracy are a top priority.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
Primary activities include (but are not limited to): Advancing Simpli.fi’s demand generation engine via email marketing to support the greater corporate growth strategy. You will be working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive growth in market share and top-line revenue.

  • Lead enterprise email automated drips/workflows, audience lists, and reporting
  • Collaborate cross-functionally both internally within marketing and externally with sales, Customer Success and other functions as needed to support both client and prospect email lists.
  • Grow and maintain database of clients and prospects and ensure cleanliness of CRM.
  • Build and implement strategy to support successful cross-sell and share of wallet campaigns in partnership with product marketing team.
  • Build and maintain MarTech stack along with the growth team to support and accompany Simpli.fi email marketing capabilities.
  • Implement additional automations across the email program and martech stack.
  • Lead vendor relations for email marketing vendors and MarTech vendors as applicable.
  • Monitor and analyze email marketing performance against growth/marketing team and company KPIs.
  • Continually make and implement recommendations for optimization and ongoing growth.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED IN THE ROLE:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing
  • Proven track record in acquisition marketing/lead generation and product marketing
  • Understanding of customer journeys and content mapping to support marketing campaigns
  • Deep knowledge of marketing analytics and data management
  • Strong knowledge of the online advertising industry, industry participants, trends, and technologies
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Highly motivated to excel with a strong work ethic and initiative
  • Strong ethical values
  • Resourceful, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
  • Experience with Hubspot and Make/Zapier preferred
