Marketing Content Coordinator Job at Gordy's Marine in Village of Fontana-on-Gen

The Marketing Content Specialist position will create content for social media accounts, Gordy’s website, customer requests and more for the Gordy’s Group. This includes, but is not limited to, creating videos throughout the company and departments, editing photos and videos, positing on the Gordy’s website and social media platforms. This person should be reliable, creative, professional, have experience with video and photo, take initiative and isn’t afraid to share their ideas. The Marketing Content Specialist must not only be driven to achieve results but also committed to doing it the “Gordy Way” by always living, and ensuring the team is living, the company culture and values, which is built on hard work, integrity, teamwork, and having a positive attitude.

Essential Job Duties:

•Creating videos of our techs, boats, 360* videos of our locations

•Photo and video editing

•Work customer and employee events, capturing photos

•Attending boat shows

•Content creation, including, but not limited to; find appropriate music for posts, taking videos and photos, using clever/play on words to grab customers’ attention

•Create FAQs for customers

Education/Experience Required:

•Bachelor’s in Marketing

•2 to 3 years of experience

•Boating experience and knowledge

•Video orientated

•Experience in still images

•Graphic design experience a plus

•Proficient in photo and video editing

•Multi-task orientated

•Able to plug and play, learn the ropes then guide yourself

•Creative, not afraid to be outspoken and share ideas

•Take initiative, doesn’t need to be directed

•Prove experience with content generation

•Able to work weekends

•Willing to put in long hours, when needed

Physical Requirements:

•Sitting for long periods

•Standing/Moving occasionally as taking videos and pictures

Travel Requirements:

•Will be required to visit Cobalt Farms (Fontana, WI), Fox Lake, Lake Country and other locations (when applicable) as needed

Work Schedule Requirements:

•Monday – Friday 8 am to 5 pm

•In office to complete on location tasks
