HOME CARE CONSULTANT - Marketing Position Part-Time or Full-Time
We are hiring a self motivated person with a passion for helping others. Someone who can go into a room and make connections and share information about what we do and who we are with local businesses and organizations to help grow our GreatCare® Brand!
The purpose of this position is to implement the referral relationship strategy through ongoing engagement in the local senior healthcare community. The Home Care Consultant reports to the Regional Director and is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with referral sources and making referral connections within but not limited to hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, physician offices, and senior community partners which lead to admissions for the local office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing - Prepare a monthly action plan and visit schedule to identify referral sources and contacts to be made. Establish and maintain referral relationships by conducting face-to-face marketing visits to referral sources daily. Conduct referral source surveys every quarter and provide analysis of results to the Regional Director. Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity. Enter marketing activities into company software system daily. Implement the Caring Senior Service Quarterly Marketing Plan in the local office’s marketing strategy. Represent the Caring Senior Service office in the local community by maintaining an active membership in industry related organizations. Investigate and determine the most effective community engagements and organizations for the elderly and attend events regularly. Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to the Regional Director. Organize a marketing event every quarter introducing the company to the community.
Office operations - Participate in weekly team meetings. Answer client inquiry calls and enter lead data into company software system. Perform other related duties as required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
The candidate must have proficient knowledge in the following areas: Local senior healthcare industry knowledge, sales and marketing principles with direct referral sources.
Candidate must demonstrate the following skills: Writing and typing, working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, organized and detail oriented, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and meet short-term time sensitive deadlines, ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, ability to work independently in the absence of supervision. ability to provide outstanding customer service with excellent negotiation and presentation skills, ability to learn our industry specific software (training provided).

The applicant must demonstrate the following personal attributes: honesty and trustworthiness, integrity and credibility, respectfulness, possess cultural awareness and sensitivity, professionalism.
WORKING CONDITIONS
The Home Care Consultant will spend long hours marketing the company outside the office. He or she will have to do some lifting of supplies and materials from time to time (ability to lift 35 lbs). Environmental Conditions: will be in many different referral source locations weekly. Traveling to and from those places may subject the candidate to extreme heat or cold. The marketer must deal with a wide variety of personalities in different environments. Work Hours will fluctuate but are typically 8:00am to 5:00pm M-F. May be required to work some evenings and weekends to meet the demands of the referral sources and clients.
QUALIFICATIONS
Two years of full-time employment in the healthcare marketing field. Must be 21 years of age. Must be able to speak, read and write English language. Must have demeanor and social skills that would enable them to communicate well with referral sources, office staff, corporate staff, and clients to achieve favorable outcomes. Must have transportation with valid insurance and a valid state Driver’s License.
