Minimum Position Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of experience with website maintenance, computer designs, and online print experience. Relevant experience may substitute for the required education.

Special Conditions

The department is especially interested in candidates with web content experience in higher education.

Monday – Friday
8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Some nights, evenings, and weekends may be required based on CCFA Events.

Hiring Range

$60,000 - $72,000 per year

Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to stand; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Expertise in the use of relevant software for designing and creating materials (e.g., InDesign and Photoshop).
  • Knowledge of basic web design.
  • Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills (photo, video, text).
  • Demonstrable social networking experience, including the use of social analytics tools.
  • Effective communication skills in both written and verbal form.

Job Duties

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborates with the Dean and Associate Deans to develop, evaluate, and refine marketing and communication strategies aligned with the college’s vision, mission, and branding.
  2. Supports the college’s strategic plan by contributing to marketing, communications, and student engagement initiatives.
  3. Serves as project manager for college marketing initiatives, acting as the primary liaison with the University Marketing and Communications Office.
  4. Oversees the college’s social media accounts, ensuring consistent, engaging, and mission-driven messaging.
  5. Generates story ideas for print, media, and online platforms.
  6. Directs communications to key audiences, including alumni, donors, prospective students, and the university community.
  7. Plans and executes events to showcase college programs and initiatives.
  8. Develops and implements an internal communications strategy to engage and inform faculty, staff, and students.
  9. Performs other tasks as assigned.
