Bennett Thrasher is seeking a Content Manager to round out our Marketing team. This crucial role will enhance brand visibility and create compelling narratives by producing content for various growth strategies and supporting marketing initiatives through blogs, email marketing, webinar scripts, and occasional, light graphic design. As the Content Manager for our firm, you will report directly to the Marketing Director, with a strong emphasis on supporting marketing initiatives. You will be responsible for crafting content for client-facing materials, website content management, email marketing campaigns, and multimedia presentations for both internal and external audiences. This includes developing Bennett Thrasher’s core value propositions, managing blogs, and supporting multimedia content for webinars and marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Create compelling content that engages B2B audiences, elevating brand awareness and reinforcing Bennett Thrasher’s value proposition across internal service lines and external buyer channels.
  • Manage all copy on the website.
  • Write copy for all physical marketing collateral (e.g., firm resume, one-page service line descriptions).
  • Support the marketing team with blog management, email marketing campaigns, and editorial oversight to maintain content quality and alignment with marketing goals.
  • Assist in developing scripts and outlines for webinars, focusing on messaging clarity and audience engagement specifically related to BT service lines.
  • Provide light graphic design support if necessary, ensuring marketing materials are visually appealing and on-brand.
  • Collaborate with service line leaders and liaise with marketing team members to ensure copy aligns service line expectations with business development and marketing objectives.
  • Monitor content effectiveness and optimize strategies using data insights to ensure maximum impact across all communication efforts.
  • Develop and manage editorial calendars, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are completed on time.
  • Work with senior stakeholders to identify strengths and opportunities within Bennett Thrasher’s service offerings, creating content that supports business growth and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years in content strategy or related roles within the B2B accounting & consulting professional services industry is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in developing content that aligns with business objectives and enhances brand narrative through multiple media channels.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms to manage blog content is a plus, but not a requirement.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms and the ability to create engaging email campaigns is a plus.
  • Proven ability to develop new ideas and best practices across a diverse range of internal stakeholders.
  • The ability to be a self-starter that can operate with minimal supervision combined with the confidence to develop new relationships with a broad range of professionals.
