Digital Content Writer Job at Aquent Australia in Los Angeles

Our beauty client is seeking a Digital Content Writer to join their team in El Segundo, CA. This role is hybrid – on-site 3x a week.

Day to Day:

1. Self-starter, pick up on concepts to create long form or short form articles, content/blog and emails, heavy emphasis on calibration with other teams, being able to pass through multiple edits due to the nature of brand.
2. Produce copy for email marketing and skinbetter.com blog that adheres to style guide and ensures consistency in tone of voice.
3. Cross check facts with existing brand materials and clinical studies.
4. Follow the writing schedule to complete articles within deadlines.
5. Collaborate with other members of team to ensure timely delivery of content.
6. Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics.
7. Use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in articles or content.

Qualifications:

1. 3+ years writing digitally focused copy in the beauty or personal care category.
2. Experience with project management tools, e.g., Wrike, Asana.
3. Experience writing for medical beauty and pharma is a plus.
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task projects and deliverables.
5. Experience working with the legal review process.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Self-motivated and well organized.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $36.81 to $40.91 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
