Compensation Range: $64 - 65 per hour

We are looking for a Senior Writer to join our team. This role involves developing original content by collaborating with stakeholders, conducting research, and writing across various communications including marketing materials and reports. You will ensure content aligns with business goals, meets legal and compliance standards, and adapts for multiple channels. The Senior Writer will manage writing projects, coordinate with designers, and oversee timelines to ensure successful completion. Additionally, you will stay updated on industry trends and contribute to broader campaigns and initiatives.

Responsibilities:

1. Develops original content:
   • Collaborates with stakeholders to align with strategic direction, objectives, and themes.
   • Conducts research using statistical data, audience insights, and other resources to complete assignments.
   • Writes for various communications, including marketing materials, market reports, portfolio updates, articles, and topical pieces.
   • Ensures content aligns with business goals, adheres to brand standards, and meets legal and compliance guidelines.
   • Adapts content for multiple channels using content management tools and SEO techniques.
   • Synthesizes diverse inputs to create unified content and provides rationale for content decisions when necessary.
2. Liaises with business groups:
   • Collaborates with marketing and other teams to align content with broader campaigns and initiatives.
   • May lead the creative direction for large-scale communication efforts targeting specific audiences.
3. Manages writing projects:
   • Oversees timelines, processes, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion.
   • Acts as the primary point of contact for reviewers and communicates updates on content and schedules.
   • Works closely with designers to develop layouts and concepts.
4. Keeps updated on industry changes:
   • Monitors company initiatives, industry trends, and regulatory updates to inform content development.

Qualifications:

1. At least five years of financial writing experience in a creative, corporate environment.
2. In-depth knowledge of financial and investment concepts.
3. Proficient in leveraging multiple content channels.
4. Strong written and verbal communication, grammar, and presentation abilities.
5. Effective team collaboration, independent initiative, and leadership capabilities.
