Description
As part of the creative team, the Social Media Content Creator will be responsible for concepting and crafting innovative and strategically driven reels, stories, TikTok videos, etc., focusing on both organic and paid markets. This role requires an understanding of current trends, differences between TikTok and Instagram, and a passion for social media.
Using proven talent and consistent strategic thinking, you will communicate our brand message in a fresh, forward-thinking way across all social media platforms, supporting the development and execution of social content.
Who We Are Looking For:
- You will be responsible for helping with all things social media! Your role will include:
- Content creation across IG + TikTok, social media concepting, taking videos/photos in-store, and keeping current with trends.
- Be hands-on and work in a collaborative environment.
- Execute specific requests based on briefs from partners amidst a dynamic business and social media landscape.
- Communicate our brand message in a platform-specific way across all social media platforms.
- Support the development of breakthrough content consistent with the Joselin Boutique & Events brand strategy.
- Work with the team on project management to meet project objectives, schedules, and deadlines.
- Receive constructive feedback and adapt content accordingly in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Passion for and mastery of social media platforms, including an understanding of algorithms and hashtag use for Instagram and TikTok.
- Sincere interest in content creation and fashion.
- BA in Graphic Design, Photography, Media, Communications, or similar degree or equivalent experience.
- Proven talent: Portfolio showcasing examples of relevant assets, including:
- Video content.
- Various types of content, such as IG story frames, carousels, Reels, or TikTok videos.
- Links to your personal Instagram/TikTok platforms.
- Skilled at photography and video on iPhone.
- Understanding of typography.
- Strong organizational skills and accuracy.
- Local travel required.
- 2-5 years of related work experience.
- Your own following on social media is a plus.
- Working knowledge of Adobe AfterEffects is a plus.
