Job Description
Well-distinguished brand is seeking an experienced Operations Lead to oversee our strategic expansion into bags, luggage, and accessories. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, supply chain operations, and organizational leadership, along with a deep understanding of soft bag manufacturing and distribution.
As Head of Operations, you will work closely with the founders to establish the operational framework for this new business. You will be responsible for devising processes, managing day-to-day operations while implementing long-term operational strategies, and overseeing budgeting, financial forecasting, and P&L management. The role will involve direct collaboration with our design and production teams to ensure seamless development, manufacturing, and distribution of products. Extensive experience in E-commerce is a must.
As the business grows, you will have the opportunity to build and lead an operations team. We are looking for someone who brings strong financial acumen, strategic insight, and hands-on leadership to help shape and expand the company.
Qualifications:
- 15+ years in fashion/accessories with strong expertise in financial management and supply chain operations
- 8+ years of experience overseeing company operations
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management or a related field. MBA preferred
- Ability to create dynamic financial models, and to build out an ERP system for manufacturing and inventory management as well as accounting and financial management.
- Previous PLM experience preferred
- Willingness to work 3 days/week (minimum) in a Manhattan office (required)
