Graphic Designer Job at Delaware Park Racetrack & Slots in Wilmington

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Responsible for designing all graphics and creative for the property. This includes but is not limited to: monthly mail pieces, invitations, postcards, print & digital signage, billboards, print & digital advertising and promotional graphics.
2. Prepares and oversees that properly formatted artwork is sent off-site to vendors for production.
3. Responsible for maintaining communication and providing interim project status reports to all parties involved with creative artwork.
4. Responsible for overall conceptualization, development and execution of creative illustrations for in-house and external marketing productions.
5. Prepares and oversees that properly formatted camera-ready artwork is electronically and manually sent off-site to digital presses.
6. Monitors all phases of production.
7. Assists in the maintenance of departmental equipment.
8. Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.
9. Promotes outstanding customer relations.
10. Performs all other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Four (4) to Five (5) years of experience in Commercial Arts and/or Graphic Design.
2. Proficient in using Mac Adobe Creative Suite Software, including but not limited to Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign to create graphics.
3. Web design experience with knowledge of HTML, Flash, JavaScript, and HTML a plus.
4. Video and Multimedia skills also a plus.
5. Strong knowledge of commercial printing and direct mail.
6. Must have strong organizational ability, attention to detail, and excellent written communication skills.
7. Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to the needs of the business including evenings, weekends and holidays.
