In this Program Analyst position, you will be supporting the Office of Response & Recovery, Reporting Analytics Division, Operational Reporting Branch as a Program Analyst.

Typical assignments include:

  • Using graphic and/or designing software to create rough sketches and translating into creative design to both subject matter experts and non-technical audiences.
  • Creating information using advanced design skills in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
  • Educating stakeholders across FEMA on design principles and processes through working sessions, collaborative discussions and other marketing efforts.
  • Managing multiple projects and deadlines, sometimes within a tight timeframe.

To qualify for this Program Analyst position at the IC-11 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the IC-09 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the federal government, a state or local government, or private sector, and must demonstrate the following:

  • Creating visual and technical reports for various audiences such as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and non-technical audiences;
  • Providing guidance on programs, policies or related to internal and external stakeholders;
  • Editing and modifying shared content on a platform (i.e., documents, spreadsheets, calendars).

OR

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.

OR

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree.
