Duties/Responsibilities
- Assist with the design, maintenance, and updates of the Manufacturing Living Lab website. Percentage of time: 40%
- Create and manage social media posts to highlight lab projects, events, and news. Percentage of time: 40%
- Support logistics for lab activities, including coordinating lunch orders, room reservations, and designing flyers for seminars and workshops. Percentage of time: 20%
Minimum Qualifications
The Manufacturing Living Labs at UGA is seeking a motivated student worker to assist with a variety of tasks that support the lab’s mission of advancing manufacturing technologies. Responsibilities include designing, maintaining, and updating the lab’s webpage, as well as creating and managing social media posts to promote lab projects, events, and news. The student worker will also help with logistics for lab activities, such as coordinating lunch orders, reserving rooms, and designing flyers for seminars and workshops.
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position
Experience with webpage design (or a willingness to learn), and basic graphic design skills to create engaging content for social media and promotional materials.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
Will have strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
