Graphics Manager Job at Overwraps Flexibles in Dallas

Reports To: Vice-President of Manufacturing

Back-up Position: Graphics Coordinator

Essential Duties

1. Manage all pre-press graphics activities including supervising the activities of associates in the Graphics Department.
2. Establish process procedures and train artists for optimal production efficiencies to be realized.
3. Assure production contracts are filled out correctly.
4. Clearly communicate and document customer requirements.
5. Serve as liaison between customers and prepress production to accurately produce artwork to their specifications in a timely manner.
6. Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and maintain accurate and detailed notes and records.
7. Process and coordinate art requests in an organized and timely manner.
8. Manage workflow of customer orders with clear and concise understanding of their requirements.
9. Support the production graphics needs for the sales department.
10. Meet with sales staff and managers to discuss the objectives and requirements for jobs as necessary.
11. Provide regular feedback on project status.
12. Review final design specifications and advise on job layouts and digital files for production pre-press ready files.
13. Work individually, as well as collaboratively with a variety of internal and external customers to ensure quality and timeliness of the finished product.
14. Proofread work to ensure quality and accuracy, as needed.

SQF/Food Safety Responsibilities

1. Assure compliance with all SQF Procedure requirements.
2. Assure compliance with all GMP requirements.
3. Assure compliance with all 5S procedures and requirements.
4. Assure all products are manufactured in a safe, quality manner.
5. Assure compliance with all customer specifications.
6. Promote and enforce compliance with all employees.
