Description:

ABMC is searching for an AVP candidate to join their Influencer Marketing team in the Beauty Division. This candidate will lead and innovate our influencer marketing strategies for our diverse portfolio of clients. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive campaigns that leverage influencer partnerships, ensuring alignment with client objectives and maximizing ROI. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of social media trends, influencer dynamics, and audience insights.

Ideal start date: February 2025

Office requirements: Hybrid, 2 days a week (Tues, Wed)

Salary Range: $175K-$215K

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development: Create and implement innovative influencer marketing strategies (earned, paid, global and local) tailored to client goals, leveraging data-driven insights.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of ~3-8 members, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and results.
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing strategic recommendations to achieve their marketing objectives.
  • Influencer Partnerships: Identify, recruit, and negotiate partnerships with relevant influencers across various platforms, ensuring alignment with brand values and target audiences.
  • Campaign Management: Oversee the execution of influencer campaigns, ensuring quality control and timely delivery of assets while monitoring performance metrics.
  • Trend Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging platforms, adapting strategies to maximize impact and engagement.
  • Reporting & Insights: Analyze campaign performance and provide detailed reports to clients, translating data into actionable insights for future initiatives.
  • Contracting: manage contract negotiations between client legal teams and influencer talent/agents throughout contracting process.

Requirements:

  • 13+ years of experience in influencer marketing, with a proven track record of successful campaigns.
  • Experience working in an IAT-model
  • Experience executing US campaigns, as well as global campaign work (can be execution or toolkitting)
  • Must be comfortable presenting in front of large groups and representing the agency at meetings with clients, agency partners, and marketing teams
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in guiding cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in procuring new business (i.e., helping to manage RFP processes, developing RFP pitches, etc.)
  • Experience overseeing campaigns across multiple digital platforms (earned and paid - i.e., TikTok, Meta, streaming, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and influencers alike.
  • Proficient in influencer marketing platforms (e.g., Traackr, AspireIQ, or similar), as well as social media analytics tools.
  • Passion for storytelling and an understanding of consumer behavior in the digital landscape.
  • Staying current and proactively educate and advocate clients and internal teams of new technologies and opportunities.
