Library Director (Carnegie Free Library of McKeesport)

The Carnegie Free Library of McKeesport is accepting applications for Library Director.

The Carnegie Free Library of McKeesport serves nine municipalities with a combined population of approximately 53,000, operating a main library in McKeesport and two branches located in White Oak Borough and The City of Duquesne.

This is a full-time position which requires two years’ experience working in a library in a managerial position, MLS, and visionary and leadership qualities.

Applications must include a letter of interest, resume, and three professional references. Candidates must have a Master’s degree in Library & Information Science from an ALA accredited school and must provide all State & FBI fingerprint clearances with completed application (Act 34, Act 114, and Act 151) Salary negotiable based on experience.
