Position: Full-time

Overview: Large parish located 12 miles from San Diego. Responsible for the design and coordination of a comprehensive liturgical music program.

Responsibilities:

1. Four Masses per weekend; one daily Mass
2. Supervise and conduct adult traditional choir and children’s choir
3. Oversee adult contemporary choir
4. Recruit and train cantors
5. Teach music to grades three and four of parish school

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in music with formation in Catholic liturgy
2. Strong keyboarding and choral conducting skills with 1-2 years of experience
3. Appreciation for the broad musical tradition of the Church
4. Dedicated to promoting active assembly participation in worship
