Technical Director for the Department of Music and Theatre

Responsible for supervision and implementation of all technical production elements for Music & Theatre theatrical productions, recitals, presentations, and concerts.

Requirements

1. Experience with scenic construction techniques, tools, and practices;
2. Theatrical lighting and sound design and operation;
3. Design and implementation of live sound reinforcement and audio recording.

Preferred:

1. Vectorworks, Q-lab, and ETCEos lighting control software;
2. 5 years of experience working in theatre design/electrics/scene shops/stage management or run crews.

Education:

1. Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of relevant technical production experience.
